Dr. Anindya Roy Chowdhury, Research Officer, Center for IPR, Andhra University

Dr Anindya Roy Chowdhury is currently working as Research Officer as part of the DPIIT SPRIHA initiative at Andhra University. Her key responsibilities include, developing and implementing an IP Policy for the university and consequently for the state of Andhra Pradesh, and teaching IP Laws to UG and PG students of Science, Technology, and Engineering streams of the university

Dr Roy Chowdhury completed her PhD in Biophysics from the CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, MSc in Physics from Rajabazar Science College and BSc in Physics from Lady Brabourne College of Calcutta University. She worked on IP management and policies of academic institutions in India as Women Scientist C at IIT Kharagpur.

Dr. Roy Chowdhury was also associated with the NPTEL MOOC titled 'Patent Search for Engineers and Lawyers' offered by IIT Kharagpur, where she interacted with thousands of IP learners across the country and beyond explaining and clarifying their queries.
